Jakarta, Itech- IndonesianCloud, a local market leader in the delivery of enterprise cloud solutions has recently launched a program called “Start-up Assist”. Under this program, IndonesianCloud are providing their “best-in-class” Cloud platform to Indonesia based start-up’s for no charge for the first 6 months of their operation.
Start-ups wishing to apply for this assistance must meet certain criteria, such as having a cloud based application based on a “multi-tier” architecture, already be generating revenue from their service, and they must be willing to sign a 2 year “exclusivity” agreement for the hosting of their systems.
The Indonesian start-up community is one of the most vibrant in the world, there are very creative people doing amazing things online. However being a start-up is hard; finding money to invest in expensive IT resources is challenging, hiring people to run the IT systems means more cost, and ensuring the systems stay available to maximise revenue is of upmost importance. This balancing act, of obtaining IT systems for as little investment as possible, whilst ensuring uptime is the perfect use case for Cloud Computing.
Neil Cresswell, CEO of IndonesianCloud says “As a company that successfully went through a start-up phase, we understand the struggles entrepreneurs face in the early days of their company inception. As a way of saying “thank you”, we want to “give back” to the community that supported us through our early days. “
“Under this recently released program, we will provide start-ups access to the most trustworthy, most reliable, and most secure cloud platform in Indonesia; we will couple this with exceptional local support to get their servers up and running; and we offer business mentorship from our board of directors, which include business, operations, and marketing specialists” said Neil.
